Time 4 Bagels Cafe is owner’s Scott & Annie’s new chapter in life. Opening their retail location in Gainesville, Virginia, Time 4 Bagels specializes in providing authentic, artisan bagels with a friendly flavor experience. Scott & Annie reached out to me looking to create a brand that’s cool, inviting and infused with their unique sense of personality. They were very clear that they wanted to create something that made their customers smile “even at 6am on a Monday morning”.

Time 4 Bagels primary logo incorporates a super friendly “Bagel Baker” mascot with an encapsulated name plate and the simplified shape of a clock face. The name plate was developed to stand alone as part of the responsive logo. Scott & Annie also chose to move forward with a secondary logo that showcased the mascot looking out of a window with a sunburst behind it to increase their branding options.

Warm browns, yellows, and neutrals were used as the primary color palette to lend a welcoming, morning feel to the brand. I used the Cooper Black font paired with a variable Firelli font to convey a slightly retro & familiar aesthetic.

Scott & Annie were so happy with their final branding that they asked for assistance with their merchandise, website, and an additional brand!
